About Working With Shannon
Transforming Suffering Into Strength
Shannon has deep understanding of how to transform suffering into strength by using skilled inquiry in talk therapy as well as the creative process. Clients can better understand themselves and their potential by using various forms of self-expression in addition to talk therapy that may include art making or body oriented therapies. Directives are designed to address complex and difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences.
You will also have the opportunity to learn mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills to apply to daily life. Sessions are meant to be playful and to be build on your own strengths and creativity.

Shannon also holds memberships to professional organizations such as the International Expressive Arts Therapies Association and New England Center for Existential Therapy. bShe is dedicated to building her skills and enriching her practice to provide the best treatment possible to her clients.
